When you're trying to be good on a diet it's important to know which foods are important to stay away from more than the others. For example, if you're learning more about the keto diet, which is a low carb diet that focuses on eating more fat and protein and cutting back on the carbs, you should be aware of which carbs, in particular, are important to stay clear of.
In general, the Body Reboot book tells us that depending on your body type, after starting the keto diet you should only eat anywhere from 20-50 grams of carbs daily. Once your body is in ketosis (meaning it now burns fat instead of carbs), eating any more than this amount of carbs can bring it out of ketosis, which is what you don't want to happen when you're trying to lose weight, feel more energy, and enjoy the other benefits of this diet.
